bree cheese

my little sister bree is going to be sixteen tomorrow.  this is a big deal in my family.  us lundquist girls in the past have been pretty excited to turn this magic age since 16 means you can date.  we come from pretty strict blood so those rules will be followed.  i remember having a neon paper chain that rapped around my bedroom rims a few times when i turned 14. the sound of that paper ripping apart from the 355 others each night was the pinnacle of my evenings as i would daydream what a real date would be like.  my younger sister elise was the same way minus the whole-paper--chain-deal. i mean look at us...

we look like dating machines...

so this has been the topic of discussion in the home lately.
bree is sixteen.
she already has dates set-up and boys waiting to take her out.

so i have been talking to bree lately on etiquette of dating in random locations; its my sisterly duty...
- while running with her i told her how to just have fun.
- we were hanging out on the couch and i told her guys like the color red.
- when we were driving around town i told her how she needs to save her kisses.
- watching a movie, i told her never call a guy unless he needs to schedule something with you and he asks you to call him.
- after i picked her up from high school today i told her how guys like long hair.

you know, the important dating inside stuff.

good luck bree.  you will have fun and will be adored by many.
happy sweet sixteen to our little bree baby.

Bree is adorable. I've enjoyed hearing about her countdown, she is lucky to such great sisterly advice. Happy Birthday Bree!

Kinda blows my mind that your lil sis is old enough to date! I still remember coming over to babysit Bree and Blake at your old house and Bree was scared and made me lay beside her in the bunk bed til she fell asleep. Haha!
