school needs to get taken care of...
life is becoming more simple.
i feel sorta sick.
dairy, gluten never agree much with me.
dairy, gluten never agree much with me.
i am sitting in my hotel bed at an ugly hour to most, trying to get my mind off how my tum feels. anyway...
so our flight yesterday wasn't bad at all. boom, bam, done.
flying to san francisco feels like ten minutes now.
jackson read the instruction pamphlet just in case there is an emergency, and re-enacted all the motions with his body so half the time he was dangling his little arms down to his feet and asking the lucky person next to us to practice the same!
the hotel my friend and i are staying at is so quaint. it's the only word i've found so far to describe it.
it has been decorated very nicely and guess what...
totally came with one of these. i know. we are dying over it too. maybe people might be getting a token from this trip from us. just maybe.
i'll try my best to take pictures this trip. wendy is super fun and creative so it will be exciting!
we ate at a fun pizza place that you can design your own pizza and it takes ages to make.
came back to our rooms and watched juno, relaxed, made some phone calls and then i got picked up.
i went out with one of my friends to this amazing place right next to deloras park {which is where the reese witherspoon movie Just Like Heaven was filmed} called bi-rite creamery (hence why i'm probably sick) and had the best ice cream my lips have ever tasted. the best. lavendar honey was one scoop and the other was toffee coffee. weird mix? yeah, the guy thought so too. it was soooooo good. you have to wait outside in a long long but it was worth it. the place was small, perfect, great.
twin peaks... never been until last night. you can see the entire peninsula!! it was beautiful. fog or no fog. it truly was gorgeous. if i can kick this ache, i might run it soon. i have been told it's green during the day up there.
so today when wendy wakes up, we plan to go to our favorite thai place in the financial district, she needs to go shopping, might paint our nails, take our bikes around town, have a picnic near the civic center, farmers market is open today, go to a few favorite book stores in the mission district.. but we aren't much planners or have a huge opinion either way. that's what is so nice about traveling with someone that is so easy going and fun.
of course the first day is hard for me to be apart from jackson but since this is my last weekend of fun before i start school and have no social life, i'll try my best to relax and enjoy!
{post script}::::::::::::
things are really good! like really smashingly good.
i can't describe it, but things are just great.
i'm just really content. it's that feeling when things are just always good, everything is positive, the house is in order, my face is hurting from smiling so much. food tastes even better.... {tastes...}
this feeling is great.
i'm totally smiling while i'm typing this.
1 lovely notes:
Sounds like good things are headed your way. The lavender honey icecream sounds awesome, but coffee icecream makes my stomach sick, so I don't even dare try it anymore.
