three five-year-olds

have you ever had a spontaneous bug to just get up and go? do something fun?! i do all the time but never seem to have time. family night meant a night where we made yellow cake cupcakes, PB +J, i pick up two of jackson's buddies on a whim, and we run to as many rides as possible at disneyland!
we started with just two.
a carrot fight in the back.
then three!
they are using their outside voices
after giving them the cupcakes.
robot, monster + fish
these boys love maps.

we had to get dole pineapple frozen yogurt since
they all brought their money from their treasure chests!

our lucky day!
the balloon lady gave jack a balloon randomly as we were walking out.
he was stoked.

i tried to stack two boys on the umbrella stroller and one on my shoulders, and a family of four kids saw me. they came over to ask me if they could help. i talked to them for a sec as the boys started falling asleep on me and each other. they seemed like super good people and we ended up knowing the same people.
they ended up helping me bring them all the way back to the parking lot. such sweeties. we hugged.

the boys, all three of them fell asleep on each other. i dropped each one off one by one and kept one. it was a great night. i think i could totally hang with a large amount of kids but would need more than an umbrella stroller.

kids are the coolest.

i also loved this quote below:

“I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really
lived.” -Mrs. Hinckley

brave or totally insane, but so glad it all worked out and everyone had a fantastic time. Yahoo for Disneyland. We are heading to Disneyworld in 2 weeks. My 4 year old is so excited. He made me promise that we would hit the Buzzlightyear ride first, so that he can kill some aliens.

Adorable boys and great quote from Sister Hinckley. It makes me want to dig into like. I'm going to be the mama of a little boy in February and I'm so excited! I hope to go on lots of spontaneous adventures. Thanks for being an inspiration!
