homerun weekend

this weekend, my sweets and i spent some quality time together.
he is in the best rotation at the hospital which gives us more time to enjoy.

we went to marina del rey since it was a pretty, hot and normal beach day.
within five-ten minutes, the fog and haze rolled in for a surprise of fog horns and no ability to see.

for dinner, we grabbed chego.  korean food makes gluten free bowls apparently.  i had to customize our sauce plate, naturally.

day 2:
we saw a movie premiere in downtown LA {sorry no pictures were taken}

then we went to the fashion district to look at some fun finds. we have a project in the making...

after we went to the batting cages.  we both love baseball.  i loved watching brady hit the ball.  he knows how to hit!  geez louise!  so fun!
after we went to souplantation which ended up striking due to service etc, so we went to a special spot...
right next to LAX is in-n-out and a grassy area you can lay-down to watch the airplanes. one of the coolest dates i've ever been on.

oh, the day is still going... we picked out pumpkins, then we gave lauren her birthday cupcakes, and then carved our pumpkins!

here is the result:
top left: justin's masterpiece he drew and successfully blew away everyone!
top right: lauren's JACK! loved it! she did great!
brady did a smashing job on his monster on the left. he was such a cute surgeon being so detailed.
and i am not quite sure what mine is...
the intention was an owl.
....right.

next day:

some book reading, some watching of this amazing movie and snuggling before church.
a homerun weekend.
i'm such a lucky, lucky girl.
xoxo
