sunburned tea.

its always fun to learn about homemade remedies for me at least; as a mother.  maybe it goes hand + hand with being a woman, nesting, nurturing and wanting to be strong enough for survival if there is a disaster.  summer is here which means bathing suit season which in turn means lots of freckles, lots of tan lines and maybe a sunburn or two

remedy: black tea bags on the burn.
recipe: hot water boil. place two bags in the pot.  soak for two - five minutes.  let cool.  let the herbs sink into the skin. that's really what those herbs are for anyway - the skin.

also, if you have bloating and dark circles under your eye...

remedy: peppermint tea bags under the eyes and puffiness.
same recipe... just let them cool a little longer as the skin under the eyes are more sensitive.

i use to be all about herbal tea but as time is limited + being able to sit to eat is a luxury, i have not made it for weeks, maybe over a month.  when i did though, it is always uncomfortable when you have the wet tea bag and need to find a place to put it.  you want it close just in case the tea isn't strong enough.  so maybe these coasters are a good idea or something to be trashed soon after the purchase?  not sure.

found these...

Lately I've been mad for tea, especially for peppermint tea. Lately, I've also had some wicked bags under my eyes (allergies and lack of sleep will do that to you). So I'm def trying your remedy, thanks! :)
