it was such a beautiful day!

this past weekend has been of the most sleepless i've experienced in some time. i am now so organized, we are all moved in and have found all my missing jewelry! we moved a mile down the street and love our new house. it has a really great feeling to it.

i promise i will post something worth substance when things get a little slower... i have so much to update about but have been giving these quickies.  life is super good. this weekend will be packed but hopefully sunday we can just sit.

the big orange balloon

this weekend brady and i went to the great park in orange county to watch a movie in the park. every saturday night they feature a free movie in the park so people can bring blankets and snuggle up on the grass.

this particular night, the park was celebrating memorial day early so they had a few things going on for the veterans there. they played "south pacific." such a fun date night!

j-baby update

a few things as of late...

+++fortunately he still sits on aunt's laps and is all cute about it.

+++ he still thinks there is far too much sand at the beach.

+++ jack currently is growing his hair long like his cousin micah. he wants long curls like micah... jack has stick straight hair.

+++ we were delayed and waiting for hours on monday. this is only five minutes of what we did to keep us busy...

+++ snores every night.

+++ the jury is still out if he is a celiac.

+++ he figured out all these fun things on his nintendo. he changes voices, pictures, beats all levels, freezes time... you name it. i also compete with this gadget for his time.

+++ he has been going to the pool almost every day. here are some recent pictures with his cute girl-buddy isabella. they spend almost everyday together.

+++ so today jackson was caught kissing this ^ {above} cute girl... isabella in the sandbox. he said he is in love with her. he got in trouble and his preschool teacher told the whole class they are not allowed to date until they are 16. oh my, oh my.

+++ he tells people he has 20 teeth. random people actually.

+++ jackson is exactly 44 1/2 inches at age 4 years and 10 months.

+++jack went on the funnest field trip recently! his went down to san diego on the train with his class on national train day. they stopped by a carlsbad beach and played in the water with mrs. g!

my sweet {kinda sister} kirsten got married on saturday! she and steve had the prettiest wedding! here are some pictures from burnt exposure of the event.

every month, our youth group {young men and young women} meet at an area close by to feed the homeless.

we set up tables, bring the food we've prepared prior, sac lunches, waters and any other donations from other churches or local schools and wait from 4pm to 5pm on tuesdays. we try to feed local people who go without shelter and food and clothing. it's been a humbling experience to say the least. there are many people there with a story. so glad there are so many good people out there that come help feed those that may need more than we do.
